Dog bone shed training.

    I am wanting to get this for my dad's beagle and then for my future dog. Has anyone had any luck with this line of products?

    I have been using the DogBone products for 3 days. I will post some of my luck, info, and photos soon. Jeremy Moore has a great line of products out for training your dog to shed hunt. He also is a well established trainer himself!

    So I picked up some DogBone products from Jeremy Moore. I live in WI and right now we have a ton of snow everywhere, so I started with the brown training dummy and the Shed Antler Retrieving System with white antler dummy, booklet, and antler scent. 3 days into training (worked with my GSP for a couple hours friday, saturday, and sunday) he is finding and retrieving real "placed" sheds with his nose in deep snow. Thinking by the end of the month we will be able to actually go out and shed hunt for real! Here are a few photos of the progress.

    Since I started sharing photos and such of my adventure training my pup, I made a quick video today. The question is when. Getting your pup familiar with the shape of the shed will be the starting point after you work on obedience training. I am filming our progress for the Bowhunt or Die webshow. I know there is a lot of interest in finding sheds, and for me...any way to help find em Im in!
