Hey guys, Josh from SW Ohio checking in. I work in forestry, so I pretty much shed hunt and scout properties 45 hours a week. I also have 3 state parks within 45 mins that I'll shed hunt in. I am on the board for 1 shed and 3 dead heads already this year... And these were found recently by coworkers (I bought the 69.5" shed for $7!)...
Went to my lease in SE MN yesterday. We didn't look much for sheds but did put out 1600 pounds of corn, 500 pounds of alfalfa, 100 pounds of sunflower seeds and 50 pounds of mineral. We were supposed to have 1000 pounds of soybeans also but my buddy we picked it up from wasn't around when we stopped and I didn't know he threw in extra corn for me. So we will head back down into 3-4 weeks to put that out and hopefully there will be a shed or two laying around the feed. When I looked at the pictures I did notice we have a few bucks that have shed already.
Just checked a couple of cameras yesterday and this was the best buck. I want to find this bucks sheds!
I sent PMs to the final 2 teammates. One appears to be a regular on the forum and the other hasn't been on since the 5th, so we'll see if they get checked in soon.
Checking in from Michigan. You might've seen me post this somewhere but I know where this buck lives and I'm going to spend every day looking for his sheds
Checked all my cams last week. It was a long soak... I think I had approx 20,000 pics to browse through. :p Only one small buck had dropped half a side. The rest were still holding. Going to check again Feb 1st. If most have dropped on that check I will start walking.
How long do we give Kansasfever to check in? He hasn't been on the forum since the 5th. I have no problem being captain, if nobody else wants it. Let me know!
