Good for you, happy hunting!
Property if looking great Heckler and glad it faired well in the storm. Can't wait to see everything unfold!
Please get a harness asap. I have use cheap ones before then used the HSS for a couple years and it wasn't bad. This year I switched to the Muddy Safeguard Harness and have loved it so far!
Good luck to those getting out and hopefully cam pulls are productive. Can't wait to see pics from the food plots that are in or are going in. I won't target a doe this weekend as I try to get a...
Thanks Fitz for the reminder. I don't foresee any concerns. When I get him scored up I'll post 2 pics of him, but I'm out of town without him for a bit (I haven't posted anything on the entry page...
I would like to let the team know that we are officially on the board. WI opener was this past weekend and I passed on multiple does even though my cameras haven't been very productive. In past years...
Wi opener Saturday and then I'll hunt MN opener the following week. Curious what pops up on the cams too.
Being from WI I am a Mathews guy all the way. Every bow but my first has been a Mathews. As my sig says that is what I shoot and its an unbelievable bow!
MAD has been good to me a number of years but has started seizing up. Bought last years Roar for under $4 yesterday so that will now be my go to. I also use a smaller Flextone as a tending call.
I'm set in both states I hunt. 1 stand I will re-trim when I go in to sit it 1st time but otherwise I've logged about 40 hours moving, re-hanging and adding new sets this summer. Only areas I don't...
Good luck Hunteropel!
Until I get pictures I will add that I will hunt both WI and MN this year. In MN if you see pictures posted by MonsterRaxx those are of deer I too am hunting. In WI I hunt a...
I'd really like to see more pictures. It looks great and at that price I would love to replicate it myself!
I couldn't agree with MR more. Handsaw is a must! I still take my pole saw out, but I'm often frustrated with its performance as the poles disconnect. I now carry a pliers and screw driver with me...
I like everything you all have put into works! Hoping to have pics soon for everyone!
The Huntsmen or DOA
WI kicks off Sept 12th for me and MN Sept 19th
I'm excited to get to know a bit more about each team member, where your hunt, and what you're targeting this season! I also look forward to sharing our experiences together and helping each other...
And away we go!
No such thing as TOO many cams! That said, running cams for the sake of running cams isn't going to help you, but rather will likely hurt you. Placement is key and with 11 acres you need to be sure...
I've acquired a few things this past month. I've bought an HHA King Pin, NoCam HTR, LW Assault, set of sticks/quiver, a handful of hang ons, nocturnals, Wicked Tree gear hook, Monster Raxx...
I'm nowhere near where I know many hunters on this forum fall when looking at my top 5, however, I have a score that rounds out to be in the ballpark of 764 (163, 159, 155, 150, 137). I don't have...
Back for another go at it. Good luck closing the chapter on this great deer.
