First job was a dishwasher the summer of my sophomore year, then Domino's my junior year, enlisted in the Guard, Round Table Pizza and Big 5 my senior year... Never held a job for a long period of...
First year of hunting, first year bowhunting. Learning from guys at work, father in law. I got into it because, after in my time in the Army, I wanted to get close.
Just called the Dept of Wildlife, should see draw results on Wednesday at the earliest, Friday at the latest. Which is good timing, cause I'm going on a pre-scout scouting trip on Sunday
We aren't going to until the start to drive. We'll make our kids have a pre-pay phone and pay for it themselves. But, I think we're trying to go old school, "you want it, you earn it", know what I...
Probably the wrong place to ask, but did you like it? I mean as far as draw cycle and shootability, weight, etc.?
I'm FINALLY starting to save for my new rig. Got my raise this last week and that's made it easier for the pocketbooks to start putting some aside. I'll be rolling out of work early for an eye...
I have the Nikon Archer's choice range finder. I'm using it the yard as I shoot squirrels, but plan on using mine during the hunt. I don't plan on using a stand. This guy is all about the stalk
I'll be chasing Muleys in the Nevada mountains, hopefully. And squirrels in the back yard.
The Stinger is $299 thru Cabela's. And I'm no longer active military, I don't know if that matters.
I decided to put my single pin slider, kinda resembles the HHA sight, back on. I got thinking about it this last weekend and wanted to try it. I think that I'm going to run with that one on my...
I got the Nikon for my birthday this year. Been using it to range the squirrels in the back yard. I love the fact it compensates for the angle. Having it has allowed me to go back to my single pin...
wreckless and 448 come from basic training. It was for a group of 88M (truck drivers) and my roster number was 448. My name is Tim, though.
I got a Nikon Archer's Choice for my birthday this last month. I've been using it to range ground squirrels in back yard... I like it
Here's a couple of pictures of how my sight is sitting on my bow as of now28765287662876728768
And then as far as practicing, do you have any recommendations?
chop, I was thinking the PSE...
So whatever new bow I get will definitely be an upgrade to the bow I'm using now. I'm once again running out of adjustment on my sights. I'm getting consistent groups at ten and fifteen yards but...
Does anyone have one? And how big of an area does it cover? I have about three acres that need to be covered.
Going into the eye doctor on Friday and am going to ask about Lasik. I want to get away from glasses cause they've always given me fits while shooting. Anyone go through Lasik?
I don't have the combo, but the Nikon Archer's Choice rangefinder is pretty awesome. I've been using the slopes in the yard and off the deck to check angles and stuff.
I'm using my three day bag from Afghanistan. $65 on rangerjoes.com

You can put in every year, they don't draw many sheep tags. An old Sergeant of mine put in every year for I think 7 or 8 years before he drew his sheep tag
I've decided to start getting my points for elk, antelope, and sheep. Don't think that I'll go for anything other than deer for a couple of years, but most definately want to do those three.
Deanh, what do you do in the military? I guess the biggest things that I'm looking for is weight, feel, adjustability and price. Just seems like PSE is right for me, right now. Maybe Mathews in the...
I was just researching both PSE and Bear. I didn't notice that PSE has the multiple adjustment holes. I think that I'll have to try them, but I think that I'm going PSE for my next rig.
And by...
So I'm starting to become a little torn... The local shop deals Hoyt, Mathews and PSE. The guy I talked to, the one who isn't condescending, says they can get Bear in. I'm torn between right now the...
