I have a young man that I am mentoring through our church program. Some other members of our church have donated some camo for him. I have sights, quiver, and some inexpensive arrows i'm giving him, but I just can't seem to find a reasonably priced bow. He's 17 years old, 5'11" and has no problem drawing the Bowtech set at 66lbs. Does anyone have an old bow lying around they no longer want that they would like to donate to this young man? He seems to be really interested in hunting, and i'd love to get him into it b/c i'm sure it would be a welcomed escape from his home life. Thank you in advance for any replies gentlemen.
    Chris

Hope you find one for him. Only old bow I have goes to 40 lbs and a 27 inch draw and I don't think it would fit

Alright Gentleman, I appreciate the replies but our prayers were answered! Went to the local shop today b/c the pawn shops were closed. I picked up the very same bow I started with 3 years ago lol. It's a PSE Polaris, 70 lb. I helped him tune it w/ an old whisker biscuit, and some tru- glo sights. Bought him some walmart arrows and a release. You would think that he's shooting an Omen for as happy as he is. I think we've got another one hooked for life!!!

Me being a 15 year old I love seeing teenagers getting into the great sport instead of doing drugs or playing xbox... Nothing beats slinging an arrow >>>------->

No kidding TJ, He's been on a few hunts with me and a few by himself. He's definitely a trophy hunter, he's passed on some bucks I would stick in a second. I told him if he was able to take a B&C buck I would have it mounted for him... I sure hope I get to be broke around November lol!
