Hello Guys, I'm new to hunting on public land and this forum. I wanted to know if anyone has any tips for how to scout public land in Southeast and Southwest FL. I don't really understand what you are allowed to do on the WMA's on the offseason and the FWC site is not much help. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Hay, hunt the panhandle of Florida, or go a little north in to Georgia or Alabama. Hunted Florida for 30 years and I am done with it. Sent from my XT1635-01 using Tapatalk
I hunt the big cypress WMA with great success but you have to enter the draws and hope your chosen. I'm currently looking for some new private land to hunt. If I find some and you want to go let me know. I lost my other private land ( I believe ) so there's 6 of us going Fri, sat, Sun, Mon, and Tuesday. For a hog fest/slauter to fill the freezer while we still can.10-22 thru 10-26-17. Let the ham hocks fly and there shall be no mercy given.
