don't know. to quote my earlier post. I had a senior moment and actually thought I'd outrun a 25 yo at work and blew a hamstring muscle, with enough torn muscle fibers to create a heck of a bruise on the back of my thigh. Just started walking today w/o a limp. What an untimely bummer this has been. So I won't be able to get out to check my cams for at least another week.

How bout you? and the others? what's our prospect like?

I'm good with both of the above as well.

Hoping next weekend will get me anxious for the season to start. Having a hard time getting into it when every other week sees heat indices into the triple digits. Should see high temps.struggle to get out of the mid 60's.

Got my tag in the mail last week, just waiting on mid November

yeah I'll have to get out sometime this month to sight in. I'd love to buy a new scope but we'll see where the funding is at.

Well boys, lets get some decisions made on the name and cap. don't forget to put your info on the list.

Dawg007 has yet to check in, while confident he will show up how long should we wait?

    What's everyone's tag situation like?

I can shoot a maximum of two antlered deer regardless of weapon used. I start my rutcation 11/7 through the 16th. Firearm is the following weekend. As I'm sure with most of us, I'm in multiple contests. Hoping to be able to contribute to both, but if given the chance I will fill both with archery tags.

Anyone else in a similar situation?

Dawg007 is that the same Dawg we know from from central Ill? I'll send him a text message on Monday & see if it is. He's probably not aware of it.

We have separate tags for archery and gun. Gun is Nov with the opener the weekend before Thanksgiving week. But this year the state has everything really screwed up with different areas of the state being buck only for any season and new boundaries. I'll have to really read up on the rules to stay in regulation. Leave it to the state to drop this one on us.

MI I can shoot two bucks - Nov 15th is about the only good firearm day...but season is 15-30th.

Ohio I can shoot only one buck, and will be after him with the Mathews most of the time.
