I am new to compound bow hunting this will be my first year in the woods with one , currently on a tight budget and have spent a great deal on my bow selection/set up is there an arrow out there that is durable affordable and deadly at a good price??? I currently use warrior arrows 400 grain 8.2 GPI 100% carbon.
Depends what your budget is. If you go on Eders.com they have Gold Tips for about $50 for 12. Even if you want another brand, Eders has great prices on arrows!
Not sure what your your budget is but when I first started out I used Carbon express Predator, great arrows for about $5 an arrow. Currently using Carbon express Mutinys, they are about $8 dollars an arrow.
I love my velocity xt's. If you get any Gold Tip in a xt and cut from both ends you basically have a pro grade shaft. It will work for any arrow if you don't want to spend $90+ on .001" staightness shafts.
If you have a Scheels nearby check out their Rogue arrows. They are made by Gold Tip, but cost a bit less. Last time I bought some, the .006 straight arrows were like $27 for 6 of them. The .003 arrows are about $5 more per half dozen. I do not shoot most of my equipment to its full potential, so I doubt that I would notice much difference between .006 and .003 arrow performance.
Me too. The white box arrows are a great value and good quality. I just won 1st place at a 3d shoot with them last weekend. I did a review here: https://www.google.com/url?q=http:/...nb-TKA&usg=AFQjCNGNu-xZdfemFDPNxzyhwc4xCFmBzQ
Walmart sells some for 3$ a arrow and although you won't be the cool guy and rock the brand ***** status they will kill deer and I have never had one fail
Hey, I was at Scheels yesterday and saw a "White Box" of 4 for $24!!! I about shat myself! I was going to bring them home, but couldn't find a size, or length on them? 400's 350's???? But, I almost bought them anyway
The blackouts at bass pro arent bad...think they are made by gold tip also probally the same arrow at scheels just different house name That said since i switched to easton FMJ i have probally spent less on arrows because they are such a solid arrow. Seem to last twice as long
