Bought my license last week. Need to get my doe application ready. Does it need to be sent in by July 14 or send them in on July 14?

Also applied for Bull Elk tag. You have until the end of July to submit.

I want to try for an elk tag. I was told it is just $10 to apply. Is this true?

Doe applications need sent on July 14th.

Can nonresident apply for an elk tag? And how much would an out of state license be?

According to the site, nonresidents can apply. If drawn a tag for nonresident is $250. It is $10.70 to apply. Then you'd have the nonresident hunting license.

I am not sure. I added archery and bear, which came out to be around $52.

I put a camera up a day ago on my new property. Got a little 4 point on there. Definately wont be a shooter this year - but it's a sign of something!

I am so ready. Watched the new Drury show Thirteen last night. I am amazed at how much information those guys have. I am going to get my clover/brassica plot plowed up this weekend and hope to have it planted by the first week of August.

Is it really? I never watched the Drury shows but if it really has that much information I might have to check it out.

Yeah. They broke down their season into 13 different phases and give you tactics about how to hunt bucks during each phase. Since they are in the midwest our phases will probably be altered time wise a bit. They are some of the most knowledgeable guys in the industry. I own probably 95% of their dvds/vhs and watch them multiple times because you can learn something new each time you watch it.

It'd still be cheap. Like $130 for license and archery tag. That'd include turkey, gun, and small game.

Do you all have your own land to hunt, or hunting game lands?

I just bought 30 acres and have archery rights spot to another nice chunk.

I've been getting more of an itch lately. I'm picking up my license here today, checked cams, ordered more minerals, checked my plots, etc., Things are going well, and this humid weather has me really looking forward to cooler fall weather.

I started putting cameras out the beginning of the week. Just got a mineral block out right now. Putting in a fall plot beginning of next month. This is the only season I really put the time into. I just hope it pays off. Last year I had an awesome spot...until I got surrounded by two guys on the adjoining property. They did nothing but talk to each other very loud, cough, make tons of noises, etc. I was so irritated. I was done after that.

Good luck to you fellow PA archers, I'm setting an extreme goal of around 120 inches or more this year.. But as always, have fun!

Thanks, and same to you! I'll be happy with anything this year! I am tired of being skunked after doing my homework each year!

Yeah, looking forward to a good season here in PA. Doe license application sent in and been shooting some. I haven't really done anything with stands yet, but hopefully between this week and next.
