So...my Dad is in the middle of buying a house in Old Bridge, NJ and I was just wondering how the hunting is out that way and if there is any place(s) some of you would recommend checking out. Being from NY I don't know much about NJ hunting, but am trying to take advantage of my dad having a house out that way and possibly hunting a new state whenever I can. As of right now we hunt NY, NH, and VT, and I have an open invitation to a friend of ours 10,000 acre corn/bean farm in Indiana that Im hoping to make a plan for next season. I would like to hunt a lot more states as well! Thanks a lot in advance guys, it's really appreciated!
I don't know much about old bridge but a little further out west in the state we have some good bucks. Multiple over 130 in our areas. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Good to know, I wanna try to find some decent spots in the area and give it a try this year. Any good recommendations?
Clinton WMA is pretty good. Many decent WMAs I Sussex, warren, and hunterdon counties Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
awesome, thanks bud! I appreciate it! Gunna start doing some research now and get a head start I guess. Probably try to find some public/state land for now.
Think I wanna check out Beaver Brook, Buckhorn Creek and Columbia all being in Warren County....walk around and do some scouting this summer and check it out.
Hunterdon ( where I hunt) is a great county as well as warren. Get the nj dep of fish and games app and it will allow you to see all of the public hunting areas on the state Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
sweet, will do...Thanks again bud, I really appreciate it! Maybe I'll see ya out there for a hunt one of these days
