I'll be going on my first black bear hunt this year, finally drew a tag for northern Wisconsin. I know that shot placement is everything but I'm looking for some feedback. I shoot a Mathews Outback set a 60 lbs., Carbon Express Maxima red 350 with a 125 gr. Thunderhead. Arrows are 433gr. and generate 58ft/lbs.at 248fps; I'm confident with my shooting ability and knowledge of arrow placement on black bears. I think this will do the trick, any comments?

Don't throw a spear at him, video it and put it on the Internet. That's all I got. good luck.

Sounds like it will kill a bear. Placement is everything. Watch out for that near side front leg/shoulder and you'll be fine.
