I have gotten thousands of trail cam pictures but the one of the two people pictured is and will be my favorite for a very long time! This picture is of me and my 1 1/2 year old son. I totally forgot that I had my camera out scouting for turkeys for me. Everyday I have to ask myself if I'm parenting right, and in one picture my question was answered. It brought my (pregnant) wife to tears, and it put the biggest smile on my boys face when I showed him the picture and he yelled DAADAAAAA. The simplest of things can be the most rewarding!!

As much as I love hunting, there is nothing better than being a Dad.

Back that up now And print out a few copies! I've lost so much good stuff by thinking I will back it up later. That's truly an awesome pic...

Your right the simplest thing can be the most rewarding. I have been taking my son checking cameras since he was 1. He is now 3 and is constantly asking me if it's time to go check cameras. I love his excitement, bit more importantly I just love spending the time with him. It looks like your doing a great job. Keep making great memories that neither one of you will ever forget

I too have been taking my now 6 & 9 yr old girl and boy (respectively) to check cams since they were 2. Both ask me every weekend if it's "cam time" yet. They love to get out and run in the woods. I take time to show them tracks, types of plants and trees, what the animals eat, etc... it is never to early to teach the next generation.

That's really sweet! Fun pic to add to the collection. It's really great when we get those moments that remind us we are doing a good job with our kids.

I wish I would've backed up a picture that I had of my son licking the salt block. I should've told him that it was just salt. Lol

He was 5 at the time.

If you are asking yourself if you're parenting correctly, then yes my friend you're parenting correctly.
