MN Outdoor News Deer and Turkey show

Who went and what did you think?

 

I didn't. Had to coworker that was up there for state wrestling and decided to go to the show as well. She said it wasn't too bad.

Did you like it?

 

I know this will not sound good but for a MN show it was pretty good. There were quite a few people there yesterday and I heard it was packed on Saturday. There were a few bigger stores there but most of the vendors were outfitters and flea market type booths. There was not very many bucks brought in but there were a few GIANTS! Once you go to the Iowa Deer Classic or the Wisconsin Deer and Turkey Expo you really notice how bad it is. There are more 170" bucks brought into the Iowa show by far than all the bucks brought into the MN show.

My shed from the Split Brow buck won the non typical contest and it is ranked 53rd all time in the MN book

 

Awesome! When and where are the Wisconsin and Iowa shows?

 

The Iowa show is in Des Moines this weekend and the Wisconsin show is in Madison usually around the first weekend of April.

 

I didn't make it I was in Milwaukee and drove back early Friday morning, I had a touch of the flu bug and didn't feel good most of the weekend. Glad to hear that the show has improved.
