Not a banquet but planning on checking out the Outdoor News Deer and Turkey expo in St. Paul at the end of February
It will be interesting to see what they do with that show. The shows that have been put together in MN have been total CRAP for years! I will be surprised if it isn't the same old thing and seam more like a flea market than a deer show. They are charging the same amount for vendors as the Iowa Deer Classic. You cant charge the same with a crappier venue and less people so unfortunately it will most likely suck.
Yea I have heard the deer classic turned into a total joke. Hopefully this doesn't turn into the same thing with a different name.
I hope they do a good job but after the last 2 that tried it didn't turn out well. If you want to go to a GREAT show take the time to go down to the Iowa Deer Classic. I know it is a long drive but it is really worth it. The place is HUGE with a ton of vendors, some really good seminars and most importantly so many big bucks and sheds brought in you wouldn't believe it. There is one wall that only Booners go on, and it is a long wall.
I think I might go to the show, my kids live right close by so it will give me a reason to stop by and see them.
I'll be in the cities that weekend, maybe i'll have to check it out. Other than that, I guess I haven't seen anything else going on around here.
