heading to ohio tomorrow.

    So me and a guy from work decided were coming out to ohio from pa for a couple day public land hunt. We're going to be in the Coshocton area..anyone been hunting that way? How's it been?

    Always wanted to do this. Just drive out. Get a hotel and a tag and hunt. Maybe I can find someone on here to get pointed in the right direction to the good areas.

    I did it for 2 years by myself, got tired of trying to plan with fiends that would keep backing out...said screw it and went alone. Had a blast, didn't kill anything. I saw some deer but the experience was awesome.

    Watch the weather as Wednesday will be a wash out. Hit it right after and the next few days and you should be golden. Just get away from the other hunters for sure.

    The boy and I did it two yrs ago...took a while to get on deer...too much standing corn....was fun though...would go again

    These guys don't know what they are talking about, there are PLENTY of deer in Ohio.

    Nope. No deer there. Only coyotes and squirrels don't waste your time

    There was a couple deer running around before gun season, 75 thousand deer latter not so much, 152 thousand state wide so far. I heard 206 shots opening morning around my place, it's stupid ! No deer left just squirrels. ..
