who's headed out this weekend? Are the deer still on summer patterns at all? I'm headed down from Michigan to get in a few days.
Me and three five friends will be heading out this weekend. The place we are going is in western Ohio near the Indiana border. Being from PA we don't get out there but a handful of times over the summer to hang stands and cameras. I'm hoping we get some shooters on camera. We are probably gonna key in on the acorns in the thicker timber.

Anyone have much luck this season in Ohio? I had a tough season.. onto several good shooters, only to have other guys wound or get those deer.. Next year!
Had two encounters with this buck. Finally sealed the deal November 11th. Missed a good buck earlier that morning. Also shot a coyote before the 9 pointer. [/URL]
I'm still waiting to hear back from the taxi. I would have done it myself if I was confident in my scoring abilities. I'm going to guess he grosses a little over 130 and hopefully nets over 125.
