Get your self some maps of the area of interest. Couple that with Google Earth and some good ol boot leather and you should be able to find a spot or three to try. Noes a good time to do it with the snow gone. All the old sign should be still visible. No one is going to give exact spots.

If you live in Sparta then I would think Fort McCoy would be a good place. I know some guys that work on the fort and they say there are some monsters taken out of there every year. All you have to do to hunt it is contact either the MWR or the range office and sign up for a pass (I can't remember which and it will probably cost you like $10.) The Fort McCoy website should have the details. The place is apparently a zoo for gun season, but should be good for bow.
