How many people actually respond? Do a lot of people answer via letter, email or phone call?

      Hey tynmiller,

I know in the past you referred to asking for hunting permission via letters. I was just wondering what kind of success you have had doing this? I am already thinking ahead to next season and trying to find new ground to hunt. This past year I ventured out into new territories requesting permission by knocking on doors. No matter how prepared I was or how good I felt my introduction was, it just wasnt doing it. I ended up getting 11 "no's" and one "yes."

Anyways, I think trying writing letters is something I am interested in to ask for permission. Please be honest with how that has worked out for you. Thanks!

I've been hunting pretty much since I was allowed and while I never grew up wealthy or with a bunch of land to hunt...I've done pretty well. I actually share my small acre and small time hunting tactics here at http://www.smallacrehunting.blogspot.com/

    Hunting and fishing most important.
