Well we ended up giving that property you told me about a try and I'm thinking I will go back next year. I went the opening weekend of gun season (bow) and there were a lot of people there and nothing moving. I really appreciate you giving me the advice and location. I haven't been able to shoot one yet this year, but I definitely haven't given up. I'm working all weekend this coming weekend, and then I have 9 days off for Christmas that I'm going to try hard to get one. I even offered a guy my antler tags if he would let me shoot a doe lol.
  2. Rg, too ugly...heading out about 0230 with my buddy to give it another go. Good luck and be safe.

I stayed in today. No sense in going out. Hope all this blows over quickly and I might go out tonight and see if the deer get up.

Good deal. Glad they showed up. Good luck this season, and let me know how it's going out there for you!

  6. I wish....ate 350 to hunt a lease in argyle. It's roughly 20 mi north of Galena. Hunted a farm near Tomson il for 8 years, but the owner died last year and we lost permission.

Opener was a bust, but we are heading out Thursday to give it another go.

Best of luck this weekend. Btw, are you hang and sons of YouTube fame?

Curious if you hunt right by gurnee? I will be hunting Wadsworth most of this season.
