That is a real good area. The bucks are sneaky but they are used to the traffic. They will hold tight to the edges of the clear cut timber. The does and fawns will venture a little farther out into the open. When season rolls around, hunt the overgrown logging roads. Especially in the early am and late afternoon.

Most guys will not leave the main road. Don't be afraid to lock on a trail cam if you find a heavily traveled deer trail.
