Lol yea you should not have any problems with pass throughs! What kind of broadhead were you using when you shot that deer? I had the same problem when i used the rage xtremes but still had good blood trails and harvested 3 deer with them this year. My ke is 72 foot pounds and my setup is hoyt rampage xt at 31 inch draw, 64#, and cx maxima hunter 350s.

Hey buddy..I finally got a chance to test the G5 strikers this past saturday...but it wasnt a deer..i watched this racoon for about a half hour and right at dark i decided to take a shot at him..I missed and shot directly under him and he jumped about 2 feet in the air lol...When i got down and checked my arrow it was about 16 inchs in the ground and went through rock and tree roots. The broadhead was still intact and blades were still sharp. I wont use it to hunt until i replace the blades cause id hate to lose a deer cause of my own stupidity. But anyways how have you been?

Gotcha...Yea i diddnt start bow hunting till i was 19 or 20 and havnt shot a deer with a gun or muzzzle loader in almost 11 years now lol...but muzzy 100g 3-blade's were my first broadhead...I would also like to try slick tricks...everyone on this site keeps talking about them.

any reason you stopped using the steel force's?

      Jhoyt
lol ok...i was reading on magnus buzz-cut broadheads and they look and sound pretty good, also watched a video of Ted Nuggent kill a buck with one and he shot it straight in the shoulder with no problems. Have you ever used them or know of anyone using them?
    17. Jhoyt
      Jhoyt
Man the more you tell me the more i like!! lol...cant wait to try them out. I was worried about the blood trail cause they have a 1 1/16 cutting diameter but as long as the arrow pass through its fine. ( 2 holes is better then 1)

Exactly what i wanted to hear!! ive been using the rage extremes this year and have taken 3 deer with them but my last 2 deer didnt get past throughs cause they hit the shoulder but still killed both deer with in 50-75 yards.Id like to try slick tricks also..been hearing alot about them! dont worry about not responding man, we all have stuff going on around the holidays. How are the blood trails and how far do the deer normaly run before expiring with the montecs?
