I have always been a guy that shoots traditional broad-heads until Sunday. I had a mature doe at 25 yards perfectly broadside. She was looking back where she came from, which was a picked corn field. I drew back and shot her while she was still looking back. I smoked her, or i thought i did. I got down a half hour later to look at my arrow and to my surprise it was covered in meat like i hit her in the liver. i took up the blood trail about 15 minutes later and there wasn't very good blood. Eventually i found her the next morning eaten by coyotes. The next day i immediately switched broad-heads to NAP Killzone maxx from NAP thunderheads. I hope these work as i shoot 64# with a 28.5 draw length. What do you guys think?
