Hey Todd. Welcome to the board.. I just joined a little while ago and am new to bowhunting and hunting in general. I'm 38 and just bought a bow a couple of months ago. I try and shoot daily. My oldest son (9) has been shooting for a couple of years and I always was interested but never had the oppertunity. I grew up in Minneapolis and hunting just never came up. My wife and I purchased a farm in Northern MN so I now have the oppertunity. We have a ton of deer and I figured why not try and thin the herd and also teach my 3 sons what this is all about... Anyway, I don't have much to offer yet for tips on where or what to do.. I plan on parking it in an old tree stand in our woods and see what happens... Hopefully we both have some luck! Later.
