      I've never ventured that far north for turkeys. I went to school in Brookings but my messed up priorities at the time had me chasing a different type of tail. I saw in another post that you are going to Utah this summer. I have looked at going for elk after going to Colorado several years with out much success.

        If you decide to, I could scout for you/ with if you decide on a unit. I love going to new areas. I had looked at going to the North Slope unit for elk, but decided to stay around where I will be working in the Cache unit. Assuming I draw I will be hunting mule deer there come August. If I don't draw I will probably be on the North Slope.

      Mostly public but I have a few private farms that I hunt on. Mostly around Yankton and Springfield. And at least one trip out to the Hills. Are you hunting around Brookings?

        Yes I will be hunting around Brookings mostly. Sadly there isn't many spots that hold birds around here, so I am hoping they don't get over pressured.

      Hey Skyler,

      I live in Sioux Falls but hunt all over. My dad lives near Kearney so I had Nebraska tags in the past too. Are you hunting in SD or NEB this year?

        I will actually be hunting in both states. Nebraska starts a week before SD, so I will be hunting there come the 25th, then back here on the 1st. Do you hunt public or private ground?
