Troy had PM'd me while you were out there and had said you had arrowed a good bull.While reading what he wrote to me before reading that you hadn't recovered it I got really excited and said YES! out loud.Then having read that you hadn't yet found it I was deflated for you.I am really sorry that it went the way it went! I was really pulling for you and had hoped that you would take an elk.
We have never met in person but I believe I have a very good understanding of the type of person you are.Basically in my mind just a fine and decent person.I am glad you had the oppotunity to go out and spend time in that great country with Troy and his wonderful family.To spend time in that manner is the absolute best part of the experience.
I tried to call Troy a couple of night's ago and there was no answer.Troy had made we aware of Dee's sister's passing but I am not aware of any of the details.Ryan,if you have it handy I would appreciate your forwarding their mailing address to me so I can send a sympathy card.
I wish you the best of luck in your deer hunting! I am only on to one very good buck and I cannot figure out his pattern.I am seeing all kinds of bears.five in the last couple of weeks,I think I have a better chance of taking a decent bear than a good buck.
We don't open until the 17th of October.I will be in Idaho from the 12th through the 24th.needless to say I can't wait.Hopefully there's a big whitetail out there with my name on it!
