Well, you may indeed call me JJ - I'm called that all over the cyberspace world. Not every "Jeremiah Johnson" is me of course, but I do like that handle because that's my favorite movie. My real name is Mark.

I've got some of my photos loaded up - you may comment away. I love to bowhunt whitetail and turkeys here in my home state of Indiana, but I've also ventured to other states for pronghorn, bison, rams and hogs. If it's bowhunting - I'm IN!

Welcome! I don't know if I'd say I'm way ahead of you as I've only been doing it for a few years but I can tell you it is crazy addicting! Last season I just hunted in WY for bear, elk, deer and antelope. I just got back from a pig hunt in Oklahoma this last weekend though which was a blast. I am writing a story for bh.com and will have some pictures so be sure to check it out! Have you hunted much before with a rifle and are just now getting into archery? Where do you hunt? Well that's kind of like the old blind leading the blind - new here myself - but I'd be glad to help where I can. First thing to do is make me your friend, then take a look at my friends - they're all good folks who love bow hunting.

Then I would recommend posting up some of your trophy photos if you have them - that's a good way to get the hunting stories going.
