It take us at Firenock long while to get it done. We started this in 2011, but many are not sure what to think about it. Most dealer asked us to make it in kits so it is easier to sell to customers. I finally got it finished and is shipping them now. When we replace all the steel screws for the Chill, it end up saving over 2 oz in weight, but the feel is so different. We show it off first at Mathews Show on 8th December, 2013, and many dealer were thrilled and had placed order with us. We are shipping those as of last week. In case of the Chill at 70lb 30" draw on a 350 grain arrow, we are seeing a 2-5fps increase from stock bow due to reduce in weight on parts. But the feel, which is what we are focus on; what a difference! Mathews Chill 2014: The kit includes all of the following and weight in at 1.92 oz ONLY 2 x limb bolts 1 x arrow rest bolt 2 x sight bolts 2 x limb pocket bolts 4 x cam bolts 2 x roller end bolts 8 x limb tip bolts This is all the bolts that will be on a Mathews Chill for 2014. Instead of the standard socket head for the limb tip, I have actually source the flat head. One can easily counter sink the limb tip aluminum plate to all flat head screw to be use to get that finish look which I think should be done at the first place for this bow. I am working with Mathews to see if I can get some extra Limb tip plate for those who do not have access to tools to get the 4 plates pre counter sinked and do a core return. For reference, one factory limb bolt alone is 1.22 oz! We have many other kits too, but most are just for the major parts, not like the chill which is a full kit on EVERY screw/bolts
they looked just like factory bolt with a difference of all TORX head and a dull silver. Some like it black so use industrial sharpie if you so desire.
Cool idea. Can you expound more on how it changed the feel of the bow! I bet these would really take of if they were anodized in different colors. Will Ti take anodization?
The best way I know to explain is that imagine you are holding a 33" long stick with 3oz of each end at vertical position. Then now reduce it to 1.3 oz each, which is about the ratio of the titanium, to steel. the stick will feel way easier to balance as the dynamic mass is less. As for titanium there are many anodizing process can be used. Rainbow is one of them, gold, and brilliant gun grey, except they all cost a ton and it really do not show much as the screw are only exposed on the top.
I have this kit for mu Obsession Evolution. I cannot say enough about this kit. When you get the package, it is hard to believe how lite it is. This is a must have for every type of bow.

If there was a way to color these... They would take off. Everyone is obsessed with color coordinating their bows these days.
Not to offend you but that seems like a lot of money to shed a couple ounces of weight and get a 2-5 FPS speed increase. I understand titanium is expensive.
No offense taken. It is not for everyone, but those who understand and wanted the difference. it is like everything, you get what you paid for and if is not what you think it is worth it. You should spend the money on something that does. Just an FYI, we just finished updating all the cam stop (US patent pending) Below is picture of Gen 4 stops for obsession bows.
