Hi everyone, Solidus is a WiFi enabled device that fits in the palm of your hand and will notify you anywhere in the world if the temperatures you care most about, like your freezer full of wild game, are getting out of line. My name is Ken McLoud and I've been hunting and fishing for just slightly less time than I've been able to walk. I got the idea for this product when a tripped GFCI outlet thawed a chest freezer and ruined a couple hundred pounds of venison. I hope to use this project to escape my 9 to 5 so that I can spend more time looking through a peep sight or with a rod and reel in hand.
