How's everyone doing today? I am new to the site. I am just looking for a few people around central Illinois that are around my age and just have the same passion for hunting as I do. Looking for a few guys who like to bull **** and just want to hunt. Unfortunately no one I grew up with loves hunting as much as I do. I hate to say without anybody to enjoy it with it gets boring alone. So let me know who's out there and loves to hunt!
Be yourself. I'm pretty much the same way. I have friends that are into hunting and fishing, but not as much as I am. I am in central Illinois near Peoria. If it's not hunting, fishing, bowfishing, or playing in a band, I'm working or sleeping. Have fun on this site and welcome. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
Southish Westish Illinois here, about 20 mi. East of the arch. I work 55-60 hrs a week avg. Then I try to spend time with family. After that is hunting. It makes it extremely hard to get anything done at work when im on bowhunting.com forums and paging through cabelas and petersons magazines. I truly wish there were more hrs in a day. It consumes me. Can't wait to retire.....
Welcome to site. Been in ur shoes before if u live to hunt friends will join ya or here you'll make news ones. I'm up here in north central il.
Me too and I live in Chicago... So its a bit harder. I'm trying to convert some friends with minimal results...
I'm in Elgin. I hunt here in the suburbs and on our lease in jo Davies county. Welcome to the bowhunting.com family.
Welcome! I'm in Knox Co., IL about 45 minutes WNW of Peoria, but also hunt in Warren Co. as well. It's always nice to have friends to talk hunting with, but more importantly for me personally, it has helped maintain and develop better relationships with my family, seeing as how the majority of my family are hunters. But if you're looking to make some new, like minded hunting buddies, maybe consider joining an archery club in your area or get involved with a regional QDMA branch or something along those lines. Just a thought. Either way, good luck this Fall!
Chicago here..i know the feeling, but u cant force anyone into it if they dont have the curiousity to begin with. Thats been my experience with my buddies. Im fairly new (2nd yr) to bowhunting as well Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
