Long time follower of Bowhunting.com. Look forward to the hunting videos every week. First time on the forum, I figured why not, if I have a question about something where better to go. Season is only a few weeks away here in Illinois and I was ready months ago. Good luck to everyone this fall, stay safe, shoot straight.

Love me some central IL! I'm lucky enough to get an invite to hunt near Peoria each Nov. Rumor has it there are HUGE bucks down there ;-)

Welcome. It's funny how people up north consider Peoria, IL central IL. I'm from the St. Louis area and I consider here to Springfield central IL. The technical borders are really a joke here and it's funny how the central zone loops down to a privately own waterfowl hunting club owned by old political persons. The zone border goes right through the property so they can hunt both zones when one is in or out of season. Anyways, welcome to the forum and enjoy

Yea Peoria is more northwest but still in that Central cluster of counties. I actually do almost all of my hunting in Mason and Fulton Counties. Only time I have to worry about zones is for turkey hunting.

Where about in Fulton? What town?

I live up on the Northern part of the state but hunted between Astoria and Lewistown last year. Couldn't find the right lease to get back for this year, but I'm hoping to be back down there to hunt in 2017.

Welcome to the forum, and good luck this year!
