Hey yall Im Pat from western MA. Been trolling around here for the past few months, learned a bunch of stuff from you guys so thank you. Hunted here and there when I was younger, Im in my mid twenties now and have been getting back into it bad the past year or so. Put countless of hours in the woods last year. Saw tons of deer and learned a lot about deer behavior and activity. Shot one small buck unfortunately was unable to recover him with two days and a half dozen experienced guys looking (lesson learned.) Can't wait to get back into the woods this year. Welcome Pat. It took me 4 years to kill my first deer with a bow. I wounded a deer my first year of bow hunting ( thank god it survived) and then waited for one to be 20 yards or less broadside standing still. I went to a pro shop and about lived there learning to do it right, then Shot lots of 3D. I can't wait for deer season this year.
