Coming here for guidance on purchasing a compound bow. I'm a hunter from MN but have no bow experience. Looking to get into it because the deer season here is open longer for bow hunting
If you got a local archery shop, go there and just shoot a bunch of the bows. The best way to figure out which one you like is to shoot as many as you can. They'll get you all setup with draw length and poundage and will help guide you in getting all the accessories necessary for a good start. I like the mission ballistic by matthews as my starter bow, but there's so many to choose from. Go and feel out which one you like best. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
