    Welcome sir. This is my first bow season as well and I see your not all to far from me, I'm over in Zwolle on Toledo Bend.

    My sisters oldest son is dating a girl from Colfax.

    Practice with your bow standing, sitting, and elevated positions. It makes a difference in the field. Make sure your comfortable shooting your bow in whatever position situation you hunt in.



    Also practice judging distance without rangefinder

    I lived in west Monroe for a lil while. Never got to do any hunting though.
