What's up everybody! Glad to be apart of the group. I just wanted to introduce myself, my name is KJ and I am an avid bow hunter. I picked up the sport last year and I just can't get enough of it. I have taken a doe, small cull buck, couple pigs, and my latest kill to add to the resume with a bow is a squirrel haha! I shoot a bowtech, boss with shwacker broadheads, (2-blade and 3-blade) on a gold tip, velocity xt 400 arrow. Looking forward to gaining some knowledge from the fellow hunters in this group. Welcome, I also admire your ability to hunt in East Texas, in that area what does not have thorns or burrs is poisonous and wants to bite you. Spent time in East Texas during the space shuttle recovery and one winter when texas was on fire. Love the Bodan.
A lot of people don't realize how tough it actually is. With it being so thick you may go a long time without seeing anything. Definitely a lot different from the hill country or west tx areas where you may see up to 20 deer on a hunt. It's a challenge but I love it.
