Hi everyone, I'm relatively new to bow hunting and returning to hunting in general after about 12years break. I have purchased a Bear Cruzer, so far it has been a good bow. I have had a few minor issues with it though in regards to tuning. To get it to shoot a bullet hole through paper I have to push the rest a long way to the left, The front of the arrow is sitting about 3" to the left when at rest. I have been to my local pro-shop and they try to tell me that it is normal, now I'm no expert but it just doesn't look right and normally when something doesn't look right it isn't.

Glad you found us. Keep asking questions. Someone may know more about Bear bows. Doesn't sound right to me either.

Thanks for the welcome, I had a crack at it today. Seeing as I don't have a bow press I had to improvise. The Bear Cruzer has huge adjustability in the draw weight. I backed the limbs right off to the lowest setting, this made it quite easy to pop the yokes off and adjust them. I backed them off on the left side and tightened them on the right, this brought the tip of the arrow to the right by just over 2 inches. It is still slightly off to the left but looks far better. It also puts a perfect bullet hole through the paper now. I had a few shots with it this afternoon it layed a very nice 2 inch group at 30 yards, even with a 15-20 knot cross wind. I also corrected the timing, which until today I didn't realise it was out. It now has a very nice firm back wall, it was always a bit spongey, when I brought it up with the staff at the local pro-shop I was told that the Bear bows are simply that way. I guess it just goes to prove that if you want something done right, do it yourself.

If I do it myself........ I always know who to blame.
