    Howdy all

Im new to the site and hoping to make new friends and enjoy the stories. I have to say I've already been posting around but figured it only right to introduce myself properly.

I have been bow hunting down here since about 2000. I don't get to bow hunt as much as Id like to but I plan on changing that. Next year I am making a bow trip to Colorado for an elk hunt. Also looking to hunt in other northern states and get a taste of what its all about. One of my bucket list animals is a moose with my bow. One day when the kids are moved out.. lol yeah right they never really move out. My best deer with a bow was just a cull buck 6pnt. My best with a gun is a 138 11pnt with a 4 1/2 drop tine. I hope to change all that soon but either way its all about the fun of the hunt and besides I haven't found a recipe for the horns yet. But I do have empty space on the wall for them lol

Iv also done some euro mounting for the past 5 years using dermistid beetles. Not a pro at it but I have learned a bit thru trial and error. Other than that If Im not at the coast kayak fishing Im trying to find a place to hunt.

I just retired my old hoyt and bought a new
    Hoyt nitrum 30 #80
    QAD ultra rest
    Trophy Ridge React One sight
    Gold tip 340 arrows
    G5 100grn striker

    Thanks
    Shawn
