hey everybody. Iv been shooting archery for 5 years, and decided its time to learn how to put my skills to use and learn some new skills. I shot recurve for 5 years. but decided this year to try out a compound. I am hunting with a Bear Athority #70. i live in CA. I just got my hunting license yesterday. went coyote hunting for the first time this morning. I wasnt able to call in any coyote, but i did find myself within 50 yards of a couple mule deer. and that was pretty exciting knowing that if it was deer season, i would have brought home my first deer. i almost got a picture of them. but by the time i got to a knee, opened my backpack, took my ziplock out of my backpack, pulled my phone out, turned it on, and got the camera going. they decided at that moment to book it. but needless to say. that alone got me hooked. even in the fog rain and cold wind. so i signed up to this forum to get impute and advice from experienced hunters, to learn what they use that works and what doesnt. reading articles only goes so far, but im hoping learning from this forum will fill in the blanks.
