Hey all. I am new to the forums. I am currently stationed at Fort Carson Colorado but I call Oklahoma home. Married. Just had my first child, a girl born May 2014. Love all types of hunting. Job in the Army is a 1SG for an artillery battery.

Interested in browsing these forums and meeting new people to hunt with and finding areas where I can go myself in both Colorado and Oklahoma. I have not been hunting since 2010 due to deployments and a move to Germany. I cannot wait to get back at it now that I am back home.

Welcome! I'm from OK but also spent several years in CO. Have lots of family in both places. Thanks for your service!

Was up there for 16 days Elk hunting. I've been back home for three weeks now. I make a yearly trip for elk and usually try to do several bird hunts in eastern CO.

Good deal. I didn't get involved in the hunting process until it was to late for an elk tag. Hopefully I can learn the ropes next year. I may have to ask you some questions on elk hunting here in the future. New to all that.

Battle. I just left Carson. Spent 6 years and loved every minute. The hunting is great, just study the Regs hard and do a lot of scouting. What area are you looking at hunting.

Well I'm used to Whitetail. I'd love to take an Elk sometime while I'm here but I'm going to concentrate on coyotes this fall/winter. Really looking forward to waterfowl mostly. Next year I'm going after Muledeer hard.
