Hey Bowhunting addicts!! I am stuck in Afghanistan and I got the fever. I have youtubed ALL the bowhunting videos worth watching and it didnt feed the beast so....i need to talk to folks preparing to head out into the woods. I will miss most of this years bow season but il should be back in time for mid-late season.....the rut in NC happens earlier than up north so ill prolly miss that....HHHHEEEELLLLPPPP.....If you could pry your eyes off archerygirl for a minute...lol

    P.S.
Archerygirl youre awesome!!! not because youre hot (which you are) but because youre a bowhunter and thats hotter!!!

Well, I don't think we've technically gotten ArcheryGirl to "hunter" status yet so if it's a competition BOWHUNTANDLIVE...you may have a bit of a head start on ArcheryGirls awesomeness.

Very cool that you ladies are into archery, thanks for BOTH being awesome along with the cool ladies already on the forum.

    P.S.
Future, all womens contest team? (might be cool though I think I'd prefer co-ed)

Welcome & thank you, prayers for your safe return!!

I'm in for an all women's team! Sounds like a fun way to meet other ladies, and let's face it, we are vastly outnumbered. Us girls gotta stick together!!

This is what I LOVE about people who share this "affliction" (I'm right there with you brother!)....it's a brotherhood...it's a sisterhood...but it's a lifestyle that we lead. We all come from different walks of of life and different experiences but we can always find common ground with a primal skillset as fundamental as harvesting game with a primitive weapon. I use primitive kinda loosely...lol...Mathews Heli-m might as well be a rail gun from the future....I don't mean to be all sentimental but I'm glad bow hunting.com exists and I'm glad you folks are here to give guys like me something to look forward too at the end of my day....to all thank you for your unconditional support...if not for the war...for the decades of support that has been shown to the troops. And to the vets...thank you for for YOUR service and for paving the way for us with your hard work, dedication, blood, sweat, and inevitably tears....sincerely THANK YOU!

My husband works out of town. One time they were in Rhode Island...trapping and killing monster rats outside of the hotel. I can only imagine how big they are where you are.

Welcome to the board and hopefully you can get an earlier trip home!

True! I have to work on my skills first then I'll be brave enough to have my stepdad take me hunting.

    I know there is a difference :)
