As you all know I"m new to this (again). I was shooting with a wrist release but I have small hands and wrist. Had a hard time getting the wrist strap to feel good on last notch it was too tight and next notch felt loose. So I switched over to a thumb release. Was shooting this morning and having hard time finding a good anchor point. Will switching to a thumb release increase my DL and by how much?

    Thanks

It all depends on if the position of the jaw/hook changes from the wrist strap to the new release...

I switched from anchoring at the corner of my mouth to at the jaw point under the ear. I love my thumb release.
