Hi all. I've been enjoying bow hunting for 5 years now. Just got a bow for my 12 year old son. Getting a bow for my 15 year old daughter tomorrow. And a couple paychecks from now, I'm picking up a bow for my 14 year old daughter. I have two younger daughters who are bugging me to get them bows too. Can't think of a better way to spend my time and money. Just wish I had more of both.

    Howdy?

That's awesome that you're making it a family thing. I do the same with mine =) We love shooting together.

My 14 year old daughter told me the other day she wants to shoot a deer. I told her to wait until rifle season and it would be a bit easier. Her answer was No! I want my first to be with a bow. :-)

So did mine. She bought herself a crossbow, but at least it's not a firearm...

It's awesome to see families getting into archery all together. My wife and I shoot in our back yard all the time, always getting ready for the next season, and now our 4 yr old has got in on the action. She's pretty vocal about getting a deer, tracking it, and then eating it. Makes a dad awful proud...... IMG_20150208_174206.jpg

Sounds like a great time. I wish all the kids the best of luck!

    What bows did they get?

Edit, yeah, just noticed this was from last October - but maybe they all have their bows now!
