Wow! Need I say more? Yes, probably. I have been hobby shooting a longbow for the last little while, and a buddy convinced me to try bowhunting, and compounds. I tried his 1998 Mathews SoloCam, enjoyed it, and thought I should get a bow that fits. I pretty much went with the Pro Shop's recommendations (he is a Hoyt team shooter), so I hope I didn't do anything crazy stupid here (hope I made good choices, too), but I got the whole nine yards: Hoyt Faktor 30, 28 ½" draw, 70# pull Faktor in RealTree, TruGlo three pin sight, RipCord Code Red rest, Hoyt 6 ½" stabilizer, Easton Bloodline 400 cut to 27 ½". All I have left is to choose a broad head. I think...

I gotta say, this thing shoots like a dream. I put a dozen arrows into an inch(ish) circle at 20 yards after I got home. Now I just need to adjust the sights so that circle is where I want it...

Very nice! That's a awesome bow! As for broadheads I would get some muzzy trocars they fly just like field points and cut great. Good luck to you this year!

I have a Faktor 30 same specs and love mine. Are you shooting 70lb.? If so, might wanna try a 340 spine next go around. Glad you like it. I'll never get rid of mine....lol.

No, I'm shooting at 60#. According to my Pro, even 70# at my length is a 400 spine. I think mine's a keeper, too.

You're right on the cusp of needing something stiffer. I'm assuming your shooting 100 grain points?
