So frustrated and upset. I don't know what else to do.

I've been shooting for years. I wouldn't consider myself a "newb". I used to shoot great! I've had my second hand Hoyt Vulcan for about a year. My groups were consistent all season long last year. I got new sites, and a new rest this year. My bow is supposedly tuned, but I can't hold groups for anything. And the season starts in 11 days!

Any ideas? I know this may not be much information, but I just need to vent a little.

Are you shooting the proper spined arrow?

More practice? From the sounds of it you just pulled it out recently.

Start at 10 yards, get your confidence back and start taking it back 10 yards at a time.

    Yes. I just double checked.

Yes. As far as I can tell.

I'm wondering if my cams are out of sync. :-/

As a trouble shooter we always go to what was changed first I would guess the arrow rest. I doubt if the cams have been in time that they would change although possible Go to the most obvious and simple items first Is the style of arrow rest a big change?

    I've been shooting atleast 4 days a week since July. I don't think I'm rusty. :)

I think what changed first was my draw weight. I had it adjusted, but didn't check the cams (I've been googling). I think they may be out of sync. I'm bringing it in to a tech next week.

Could be a lot of things.

Cable and string stretch will do it.

You said you bought a new sight? If the housing size and distance from mounting point changed, your peep alignment may be different. If the peep is to big or to small that could cause inconsistencies.

If the new rest is a drop away and isn't timed right, that could do it.

Draw weight can have a pretty bad affect on accuracy also. I have found that on my target set ups I shoot 55-58lb. That's my most accurate draw weight. I hunt with 62lb. I am not as accurate at farther distances with the higher poundage. I also don't shoot deer over 30yd either.

It sounds like you changed a lot at once that could have affected accuracy.

Good luck with figuring it out.

Okay. Thanks everyone! I got her tuned up today! Cam sync and time were pretty bad off. We got those fixed and it's shooting great now!

Well, I don't have the tools to do it, so I took it to a friend's shop. Yesterday we worked through Javi's instructions here: Hoyt Draw Stop Timing (Revised)
It's shooting like a new bow now. :)

    Thanks!

Yep! Getting quarter sized groups at 20 yards. I'm sure I'll need to adjust my pins for 30+. I'll do that this weekend. I was grouping good out to 40 yards last year.

    Thanks! :)
