I know there is a post on here every few threads about broad heads and shooting. But I went to sportsmanship warehouse to get some broad heads. I picked up a pack of three montec 125gr three blade heads. I also went to walmart as that's where I get my license and picked up a pack of Allen grizzlies 125gr three blade heads.
My question, is one better than the other and is there a really huge difference or is it a preference thing? Which one is better.

Any sharp well placed broad head will get the job done , some just seem to do it better . For the most part , I believe that is personal preference though . Lots of reviews out there on most heads that should help .

Where you hit them is a lot more important than what you hit them with. What works best with your setup, and personal preference.

I shot a pack of Allen broadheads with my recurve. They are basically one time use, even on a target.
The montecs however, are indestructible. And can be re sharpened. I wouldn't take the chance on game with a cheapo broadhead.
