I was looking on ****'s Sporting Goods.com and found a LimbSaver S-Coil Stabilizer for 20 bucks. Found some good reviews, but was wondering if any of you guys had experience with it. Also what does a stabilizer do ? This one is 4.5 " long and 1.6 " wide and weighs about 4.73 oz.

A stabilizer does a couple things. one it helps to absorb vibration from shooting your bow and two it helps to stabilize/steady the bow when you are at full draw. I had one of the s-coil stabilizers on my bow and they work ok for absorbing vibration but don't do much if anything to help steady the bow when aiming. generally the longer the stabilizer is the steadier the bow will be when aiming. It all depends on the shooter, I need a little help keeping my bow stead so i use a longer stabilizer to help with that. Some people don't need it so opt for a shorter one with more vibration dampening. hope this helps.
