This may be a really silly question but it just popped into my head; Does a non typical buck have any different taste then a typical? Its my first season with a bow and only my second season hunting so I basically have no knowledge of hunting yet but I'm learning. Anyways just a question I thought I'd ask.

Ewe...I no longer want to shoot a non-typical buck...oh wait I already did and it did not taste like chiten (<- on purpose).

All deer have their own unique traits as far as personality, so in a way...I'd say yes to the OP question. As far as only being pertinent to non-typical deer alone...not really no. They all act like deer, assuming you're talking about personality and not actually flavor of the meat.

Horn growth has nothing to do with flavor.

    Wrong. Opposites attract. Duh.
