    Definitely a fan of the Apple Bacon Backstraps. Got the idea here last year. Have made em multiple times, & they are pretty popular round here :)

    Made em this weekend. Had some backstrap left, & rather than make more steaks, made a few shishkabobs...... wow. Again, delicious. Thought I'd share.

    whatd you marinate with? They look delicious, a bit too much bacon for me though.

    Marinated in Apple Cider.

    Too much bacon...??? Blasphempy lol. Didn't think there was such a thing :)

    Heres how I make mine
    Thin sliced up back straps
    -tenderize with tenderizer mallet
    -add seasoning (blk pepper, garlic powder, little bit Lawry's course garlic salt)
    - marinade in liquid steak marinade overnight
    - wrap in bacon
    - put them on skewers and then on the grill
    - just long enough to get the bacon crispy

    Melts in your mouth, they don't last long at all.
