I was wondering if yall know any good apps that you use to map out your hunting property. I know the HuntStand app, but the free version is pretty glitchy. Just looking for an app that I can map stand sites, bedding areas and ask the good stuff.
I use scoutlook hunting to mark stand locations. It seems to work well. Not a lot of bells and whistles but I like it
Hunt Stand is suppose to be coming out with a PRO version, I've contacted them a couple of times and they keep telling me Friday or very soon....LOL....so who the heck knows.... Creeks
I will second Arc. I work for the county I hunt in so I have access to some awesome stuff in my arc project.
I manage the Land Information office in the county I work in so I have a pretty awesome layer of hunting stuff in my ArcGis project as well. Kinda nice getting paid to look at aerial photos all day long.
HuntStand is amazing for free. OnxHunt is amazing but I can't pull the trigger for $29.99. HuntPredictor is great too. Also download RadarNow. That one is great as well for weather and the current radar maps.
I use Scoutlook and Huntstand. I also have GPS Status and GPS Essentials for compass/direction features.
I used ArcGIS quite a bit in the military. I never even thought about using it for hunting properties, but that's a good idea! I've used Antler Insanity and HuntStand. Both have worked pretty well for me.
There's been so many of these threads started, do a search and you'll find a ton of info. I use my garmin etrex with with its software and google earth it's much better than any phone app
Antler insanity show you direction how to get your tree stand when you get loss. I love it I had used it for couple time Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
