Has anyone on here used either of these scent sticks? I've heard and read nothing but amazing results for the ever calm stick and was wondering if any of you fellow bow hunters have personally used either product. If you have used either, I'd love to read a personal "review" of the product from you guys! Thanks!

I bought the spry to try. Some guys on here have spoke well of the stick. Said to put on your boots. I will give mine a try in a few days when I get home.

I use the herd in a stick product and have had nothing but great experiences with it. Many products you can't tell any difference with it but this stuff I can definitely tell a difference. Personally, I'd rate it 6 out of 5 stars and I don't "endorse" many products.

Do you apply it to your boots and the tree you're in or trees around you?

Similar thoughts here....I've actually had a couple times deer get curious and follow the trail I walk to my stand....had a couple get to tree and spook. Learned to kinda rub feet about 15 yards away from stand in an attempt to remove as much as possible prior to getting really close to stand.

How long does a stick seem to last?

I'm wondering the same. I just put some out and it seems it shouldn't have a problem lasting a whole season

I've used the yellow stick (calm deer herd) and had awesome success. I had a buck come in downwind, try to scent me a few times then walk right to 20 yards before I double lunged him. Wind was blowing right at him. Put it on the trees and rocks under your stand.

I put out some Tinks doe-p too. I use the spray can for Tinks. Awesome combo. Deer never spooked and came off a field. Nice and easy and calm as can be.

I have the estrous stick too but haven't tried it yet.

Buy on Amazon if you buy it. You can get both the yellow stick and red stick combo for $44.99.
The yellow stick is $20 at ****s sporting goods and the red one is $45. Basically you get the yellow for free.

This stuff is witchcraft. I've had doe in front of me with perfect wind and they see me move once and bust me. Tonight I had 6 does with tin shooting range all night. 3 times I got caught moving by 2 different doe and they'd just look at me, I held still of course, and then go right back to feeding as if I wasn't even there. I was actually in shock how much it worked. They literally stayed within 20-30 yards all night and didn't leave until I had to get up to leave at dark. And even then they didn't spook real bad, they ran about 75 yards across the field to the other side and started feeding again. Recommended

I wish I brought home the card from my cam last week. Had a doe laying next to the tree I rubbed this stuff on. I was trying to get any deer in the area to get close and investigate so I could see what kind of bucks are in the area, didn't expect one to bed right next to it.
I'll be putting it on a sapling 20 yards from my stand next time I'm hunting.
I'd give it a thumbs up.
*If you put it on your boots, they will stink like this stuff in your car, garage, etc.

Yup. I got the VS-1 and the deer herd stick for $45.

I haven't heard much about the rutting buck stick though.

I have a can of buck bomb estrous spray that I carry. I've had luck in the past. I think that combined with the calming stick will work wonders for me

Yeah I figured it'd stink. Boots are staying on the porch or in a black garbage bag or something sealed haha
