This is a buck I now have 3 years of pictures of. He is 4 this year and will be a shooter. I think he's a homebody who lives on my farm. He's always around. Here's my history with him in pictures.

In 2013 he was 2 1/2. I encountered him once on oct 28th. He worked a scrape in my food plot and then attacked a dead doe I had just shot. Here is what he looked like that year

He should be bigger this year. You getting any pics of him yet?

In 2014 he was 3 1/2, and although I was excited to see him back, I was hunting another deer on a different property pretty hard so I didn't hunt this farm much...but he was all over the place on my cams...including in one of my food plots during daylight for the first 5 days of the season. Here is how he looked last year.

Here where it gets really interesting. He shows up so often on my camera that it's really easy to compare growth to last year. He is 4 years old now.

This is June 4 last year compared to june 2 this year

Yes sir, he certainly blossomed this year! If he reaches 5.5, he could be even more special.

Awesome looking buck! It's really cool when you can chronicle a buck like that from year to year. Just goes to show that passing on em and letting em grow can pay dividends!

Nice looking deer. Hopefully you can get up close and personal and see if he makes it to 5. :tu:

Very nice. I like seeing the history of a buck growing up. It makes it that much more special if you are able to take him. This definitely shows the benefits of letting young bucks walk if you are trying to kill a big buck.
